MW Editions accepts proposals for all manner of illustrated books. We receive hundreds of submissions every year, however, and can only select a few projects to pursue at any given time.
First and foremost we evaluate submissions on the quality of the work. In addition to the work itself, we consider whether the proposal will result in a successful book—some great ideas are not best manifested in book form.
Your submission should contain:
— a written description of the project, including a summary of the concept
— proposed contents including any texts
— a selection of relevant images in JPEG form
— artist and author bios or CVs
— any supporting information about exhibitions, events, publicity plans, and sources of funding if they exist.
