Biography
Nancy A. Scherl is a fine art portrait photographer based in New York City. She is a life member of the American Society of Media Photographers. Scherl served on the board at the Katonah Museum Artists Association from 2017 to 2024. She is the recipient of many awards, including a two-time Photolucida Critical Mass Top 200 Finalist (2019 and 2023) and the Arthur Griffin Legacy Award (2023). Her work has exhibited globally, including at FotoNostrum Mediterranean House of Photography, Barcelona; PX3 Espace Beaurepaire, Paris; A Smith Gallery, Johnson City, TX; Praxis Gallery, Minneapolis; South X Southeast, Molina, GA; Katonah Museum of Art, NY; Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden, North Salem, NY; and Griffin Museum of Photography, Winchester, MA.
